New U.S. Shipping Requirements
A new U.S. Customs regulation (T86) has been introduced, which may require updates to the shipping details you provide when processing future orders.
What’s changing? To ensure a seamless shipping process, all orders placed for delivery to the US must include:
-
Email address of recipient
-
Phone number of recipient
These fields are currently optional on the Tapstitch checkout, but will soon become mandatory.

Why you need to be aware:
Currently, some customers don't provide these details when placing an order.
This is especially common in customers using the Tapstitch integration for dropshipping.
Under the new regulations, any US orders missing these fields may face delays. US Customs may hold or stop your parcel, and penalties could be applied.
It's important to update your shipping options now.
What you need to do:
To avoid any shipping disruptions, it's important that you start including these details on every order.
If you dropship or integrate Tapstitch with an online store:
Update your store's delivery address requirements to make recipient phone number and email address a mandatory field on all orders.
