Please familiarize yourself with our print guidelines to ensure optimal results.
Remove background for better print quality
- If your design has a background similar to the color of the garment – the background will be printed and will look slightly different to the color of the fabric. Make sure that this is the result you are looking for.
- Otherwise, you can use the "Remove Background" tool to remove the background from your design. How do I remove the background from my images?
- When you upload your design images, it's important to check for any remaining borders around the edges. If you find any borders, please use software like Photoshop to remove them before submitting the images. This will help ensure that your designs look clean and professional.
About print size
- Dimension: We support the display of print dimensions in centimeters, inches, and reference values. Please note that the dimensions shown here are for the whole print file. If you want to see the accurate print size, ensure that the print in the image you upload edgedly fits.
- Production Variations: The final print size may vary slightly due to production processes.
- Error Margin: In the actual production process, there may be some discrepancies(less than 10%) in the size of the prints. (For example, if you design the print size for the L size to be 10 inches, then the actual effect of the print on the L-size garment might be 10.5 inches.)
- Quality Assurance: Adjustments are made to ensure the highest print quality.
- Garment Fit: Your designs will be adjusted based on the product size you select. If the product size is smaller than the reference size, the designs on the front and back will be scaled down to fit the garment's size. Conversely, if the product size is the same or larger than the reference size, your design dimensions will be scaled up to fit the garment's size.
About the product effect
- When choosing a black product and uploading a black design in Tapstitch, use pirate black RGB (61,64,64) for your design to ensure consistent coloring. (See Picture Below)
- For all-over printing products, the base color is always white, much like a blank canvas. Tapstitch will print your all-over printing design on the white products and then start the sewing process. It's normal to expect some whiteness in certain areas, such as the collar area.
- Customized goods are mainly inspected through manual identification, so minor deviations in the production process may occur. If you have specific requirements for the design or logo's location and size, please contact customer service at info@tapstitch.com and confirm them with us to avoid errors.
About color differences
- In designs: Printing the same colors on different fabrics/materials may result in minor differences, which is considered normal.
- In fabrics: Fabrics dyed in different batches may have minor differences due to temperature or dyes, which is normal.
- Base color element: The same design printed on products of different base colors may have minor differences due to the primary colors principle (see picture below).
Can the images on our website be used for commercial purposes?
- The images on the design tool are externally indexed, and based on recent hot topics and the preferred styles of most customers, they are automatically matched with suitable patterns that can be printed on clothing. Since a large portion of our website's customers purchase items for personal wear, and they may lack design abilities, these image materials are for reference only and do not come with commercial licensing.
